After anti-corruption protesters in Nepal set fire<\/a> to the parliament building in Kathmandu on September 9, drawing international attention, a claim began circulating<\/a> on social media that Nepalese Foreign Minister Rana Deuba<\/a> had been confirmed dead following an attack on her residence and that of her husband, former Prime Minister Sher Deuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, this claim lacks any supporting evidence, source, or reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rana Deuba and her husband were attacked<\/a> by protesters on September 9. Demonstrators forcibly entered their residence in Kathmandu. Video footage shows the former Prime Minister with blood on his face after the attacks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple was escorted<\/a> to a secure location by the military<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to local<\/a> media<\/a>, it was Rabi Laxmi Chitrakar, the wife of former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal, who died on September 9 from burns sustained when protesters set her house on fire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
