As expected, the comments section quickly filled with insults and various derogatory remarks. However, the video has absolutely nothing to do with Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It actually shows<\/a> the wedding of Swedish opera singer Rickard Soderberg and his partner Anders, which took place in Malmo in June of last year. Swedish media reported that the wedding sparked a wave of online hate and that Soderberg responded by saying his focus remained on love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According<\/a> to Swedish media:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe celebration of love became a lifelong memory, but at the same time, a storm of hatred erupted on social media. Rickard Soderberg told Nyhetsmorgon that thousands of threats and negative comments arrived after the wedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018The video received many millions of views and more than a thousand death threats. But I can only let it happen and move on. I cannot get stuck in it,\u2019 he said. \u2018I focus on those who see love in it, and for everyone else I simply hope that one day they will find peace and humanity.\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photos from the wedding can be found on Soderberg\u2019s Instagram profile<\/a>, along with many others that clearly show he is open about his sexuality and actively supports LGBT rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video was therefore filmed in Malmo, not Lviv, meaning the claims are rated as disinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
