BHSC below<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Russia’s attack on Ukraine, which violated international law and launched destabilization processes with unforeseeable consequences, was preceded by numerous disinformation and propaganda campaigns launched with the aim of justifying aggression against a sovereign state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is expected that the military attack is accompanied by intensified disinformation campaigns, which are already being actively fought by fact-checking newsrooms across Europe and the world. SEE Check members will intensively monitor and verify information emerging about the attack on Ukraine. All articles of our six newsrooms about the attack on Ukraine will be published as a Live blog on the SEE Check website<\/a>. We will follow the work of the Ukrainian media specializing in fact-checking Vox Ukraine<\/em><\/a> and<\/em> <\/em>StopFake<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>verified signatories of the Code of the International Fact-Checking Network (<\/em>IFCN<\/em><\/a>)<\/em>, whose members are constantly checking and disclosing misinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The SEE Check network expresses solidarity with colleagues from Ukraine, as well as with all its citizens. We appeal to the media, as well as to officials, to adhere to the facts and professional and ethical standards, which are of key importance when reporting on tragic events such as war conflicts, when reporting and commenting on attacks on Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Napadu Rusije na Ukrajinu prethodile su brojne dezinformacijske i propagandne kampanje pokrenute s ciljem opravdavanja agresije na suverenu dr\u017eavu, \u010dime je prekr\u0161eno me\u0111unarodno pravo i \u010dime su pokrenuti procesi destabilizacije sa nesagledivim posljedicama. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n O\u010dekivano je da \u0107e vojni napad pratiti poja\u010dane dezinformacijske kampanje protiv kojih se ve\u0107 aktivno bore fact-checking redakcije diljem Evrope i svijeta. \u010clanice SEE Checka intenzivno \u0107e pratiti i provjeravati informacije koje se pojavljuju o napadu na Ukrajinu.
