What are the claims?
Russia seized a shipment of adrenochrome from Israel that allegedly contained the blood of 10.000 children.
What are the facts?
The story about Russia seizing an “Israeli shipment of adrenochrome” is fabricated. It is based on a conspiracy theory claiming that adrenochrome derived from children’s blood rejuvenates “global elites.”
In February 2026, posts circulated on social media claiming that Russia had “seized the largest shipment of adrenochrome to date” from an Israeli ship in a Syrian port (1, 2, 3). The allegedly seized adrenochrome, believed by conspiracy theorists to have rejuvenating properties, was supposedly made from the “blood of 10.000 children” and intended for “Hollywood.” Some of these posts included a photograph allegedly showing the “confiscated adrenochrome.”
The image allegedly shows Russian soldiers standing next to containers in a port, said to contain the confiscated shipment.
However, claims about Russia seizing the largest shipment of adrenochrome have been circulating on social media since at least August 2025 (1, 2). One such post from that period states:
Russian forces seize the largest adrenochrome shipment in history at the Tartus naval base in Syria. According to intelligence sources, the shipment – disguised as humanitarian aid – was refined from the blood of 10.000 children and was headed directly to Hollywood.
AN INTERCEPTION THAT SHOCKED THE KREMLIN
According to leaked Russian information, a vessel carrying the largest shipment of adrenochrome ever recorded in modern history was intercepted at the Tartus naval base in Syria. Russian naval forces, acting on intelligence from the Kremlin’s Adrenochrome Task Force, intervened under cover of darkness, boarded the vessel, and secured the cargo before it could enter NATO-controlled waters.
Destination: Hollywood, USA – the beating heart of the elite long rumored to have an insatiable demand for this chemical.
Fabricated Claims About Adrenochrome
The bizarre conspiracy theory about elites, particularly “Hollywood elites”, using adrenochrome derived from children’s blood for rejuvenation is not new, but today it is largely spread by followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory. Raskrinkavanje has written about this theory in dozens of analyses. It is based on the belief that the world is controlled by a “satanic cabal” involved in child trafficking in order to extract a substance called adrenochrome from children’s blood. According to this conspiracy theory, adrenochrome is used for rejuvenation by well-known figures in business, film, and politics.
In reality, adrenochrome is a chemical compound produced by the oxidation of adrenaline. It is not obtained from human blood but is synthesized in laboratories using silver oxide. In medicine, it has limited use as a blood-clotting agent. There is no evidence that this compound has any “rejuvenating” effect.
Claims that Russia intercepted a shipment of adrenochrome from Israel in Syria containing the “blood of 10.000 children” originate from an article published on August 7, 2025, by the American website The People’s Voice, which is known for spreading disinformation and conspiracy theories. This outlet has previously published claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin had “exposed a secret adrenochrome trafficking network from Israel” involving top U.S. officials, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and numerous other public figures (1, 2, 3).
Similar claims have also circulated in our region, particularly in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Since the beginning of the invasion, QAnon supporters have spread false claims that Putin or the Russian military in Ukraine were “dismantling biological weapons laboratories” and had “destroyed an adrenochrome laboratory” in this country.
False Claims “Supported” by an Ai-Generated Image
Claims about Russia seizing adrenochrome from Israel can only be found in the article published by The People’s Voice and in posts by conspiracy theorists (1, 2). They do not appear in reports by international news agencies or major media outlets, which would undoubtedly have reported on such an incident involving Russia, Israel, and the United States.
The photograph of the alleged “seizure” shared in February 2026 is not authentic. It is an image generated using artificial intelligence. Several details visible upon closer inspection indicate that the image was generated or significantly altered using AI technology. One of the soldiers’ hands appears unnaturally distorted and incomplete, and there are other inconsistencies, such as blurred and warped background elements.
The authenticity of this image was also analyzed by the Greek fact-checking platform Ellinika Hoaxes on February 24, 2026. Their analysis notes that the flags on the soldiers’ uniforms are inconsistent and that none of them correspond to Russian flags.
The AI-detection tool Hive Moderation assessed a 99,9% probability that the image was generated using artificial intelligence.
In conclusion, the story about Russia seizing an “Israeli shipment of adrenochrome” is fabricated. It is based on a widespread conspiracy theory claiming that this chemical compound rejuvenates “Hollywood elites” and influential figures who allegedly traffic children from poorer and crisis-affected regions for this purpose. In February 2026, the story was shared alongside an AI-generated image of the supposed “seizure.”
Since it is not possible to determine with certainty when these claims first appeared in our region, all posts claiming that Russia intercepted and seized an Israeli shipment of adrenochrome in Syria are rated as spreading fake news and a conspiracy theory.
