SEE Check Regional Newsroom
The SEE Check website is a publication of the SEE Check network. The website is run by the SEE Check regional newsroom. The SEE Check regional newsroom is composed of the journalist and the editorial board. The editorial board of the SEE Check regional newsroom is composed of five representatives from five members of the network.

Darvin Murić (Raskrikavanje.me)
Darvin Murić serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the fact-checking platform Raskrinkavanje.me. Previously, he contributed to the politics section of both Vijesti daily and Vijesti online, covering a wide range of topics including NATO, the European Union, elections, political parties, and corruption. Murić is an alumnus of both the International Visitor Leadership Program and the Edward R. Murrow Program. He held the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Pobjeda.me.
Emir Zulejhić (Raskrinkavanje.ba)
Emir is a co-founder of the Bosnia and Herzegovina-based fact-checking outlet, Raskrinkavanje.ba. Since 2017, he has been a part of the Association of Citizens “Why not,” the publisher behind Raskrinkavanje.ba, dedicating his efforts to fact-checking media and social media content. In his current role, he serves as both the editor and project coordinator for Raskrinkavanje.ba. He has been part of the SEE Check network and the SEE Check regional newsroom since its establishment, where he is currently one of the members of the Editorial Board.
Ivana Živković (Faktograf.hr)
Ivana Živković is the Managing Editor at Faktograf.hr. Previously, she served as a journalist at Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) and N1. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Zagreb. She is a member of the Croatian Journalists’ Association.
Vesna Radojević (Raskrikavanje.rs)
Vesna Radojević is a reporter and editor for KRIK’s project “Raskrikavanje.” She began her journalism career at “PG Network” in 2011. She later joined “Istinomer,” where she worked until October 2017. Radojevic’s dedication to journalism was recognized early in her career when she received the “Borivoje Mirkovic” Award in 2012 for the best student TV contribution. Since then, she has been honored with the National Award for Investigative Journalism.
Stefan Janjić (Fakenews.rs)
Stefan Janjić is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. He graduated top of his class in Journalism, followed by completing his Master’s studies in Communicology at the same department. He earned his Ph.D. in Social Sciences and Humanities (Communication and Philological Studies) from the Faculty of Philosophy in 2021. His professional and research interests include discourse analysis, storytelling, and fact-checking. Since 2014, he has worked with the Novi Sad School of Journalism as a Media Literacy (MIL) trainer and media analyst. In 2018, he began serving as the editor-in-chief at FakeNews Tragač, a fact-checking website. Stefan is a recipient of multiple accolades, including the Extraordinary Award of the Senate of the University of Novi Sad for scientific work—awarded twice—and the Award for the Best Young Researcher (Social Sciences) from the Faculty of Philosophy. He has also received the “Being and Language” award from the Radomir Konstantinović Foundation and the Annual Award of Excellence in Journalism from the Independent Journalists’ Association of Vojvodina. Additionally, Stefan has been honored with the Sakura, Konrad Adenauer, and Distinguished Humphrey scholarships, as well as a literary scholarship from NIN.
Maida Salkanović (Seecheck.org, Raskrinkavanje.ba)
Maida Salkanović is a journalist at SEE Check regional newsroom. She produces articles on regional media issues, edits the translated content from the members, and manages the network’s social media. She works as a researcher and journalist for Sarajevo-based Raskrinkavanje.ba. Currently pursuing a PhD in Media and Communications at University of Belgrade, she has over ten years of journalistic experience. Previously, she has worked with organizations like the Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo and Klix. She is the recipient of the CEI SEEMO Award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism and USAID Journalist Award. She comes from Bosnia-Herzegovina and the US.
