A conspiracy theory circulating online claims that figures such as U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and ‘five other personalities who can boast a similar commitment’ will divide the Earth into seven kingdoms. The post is accompanied by a map that appears to depict these seven kingdoms.
As is often the case, this extraordinary claim is not backed by any evidence or credible sources.
The map included in the post clearly does not resemble any real-world map.
In fact, through the Google Lens image search engine, Faktoje found that the map shows the seven kingdoms of the continent of Westeros, where the events of the famous A Song of Ice and Fire book series by George R. R. Martin, and the TV series Game of Thrones based on it, take place.
The specific image accompanying the post above appears to be a map created by a Crusader Kings II player, as part of a series of modifications designed to make the original game resemble the world created by George R. R. R. Martin.
