In the morning hours, the web portal of the daily newspaper Alo published a report stating that student and activist Mila Pajic had been appointed as the editor of a show on Radio Television of Vojvodina.“Among the employees of this media service, Mila Pajic, a student of the Department of Media Studies and a close associate of Dinko Gruhonjic, is listed as the editor of the TV show ‘I choose’ on RTV”, writes Alo. However, as Tragac has been able to verify, this is yet another piece of disinformation.
Student Mila Pajic confirmed to our editorial team that she has not been employed at the provincial public service for over a year, adding that she was never engaged in an editorial position at any point.
“I have never been an editor of anything. I was a journalist in the children’s and youth editorial department. More of a host than a journalist, from the age of fourteen until the end of 2023”, Mila Pajic explained in her response.
To further confirm that the tabloid’s claims are false, we reviewed the publicly available archives on the official website of Radio Television of Vojvodina. Vesna Konja has been listed as the editor of the show both in the past year and during Mila Pajic’s tenure, in which she served as a “moderator and host”.
