On social media, including Albanian-speaking platforms, an image is circulating that appears to show a person tied behind a rocket. The blurry image is accompanied by the claim that it shows Israeli agents captured in Iran and tied to an Iranian rocket to be sent back to Israel.

Using Google Lens visual search, Faktoje discovered a clearer and more complete version of the blurred image.

In the full version, several typical indicators of images generated by artificial intelligence (AI) programs can be seen.
The Iranian flag on the rocket is inaccurate, the man’s face is blurred, the bow around him does not look stable, and the railings and stairs of the ramp next to the rocket are also distorted.

On June 15, the Iranian police announced that they had arrested two ‘suspected’ Mossad agents, who are believed to be behind ‘acts of sabotage’ in Iran. However, the announcement, nor any other official source, does not mention the ‘return’ of these agents to Israel via rockets.
Faktoje has previously verified an AI-generated image that was claimed to show an Israeli spy physically tied to a rocket and launched toward Israel.
